Emergency Veterinary Hospital Open 24 Hours a Day

Claire Johnston

Assistant/Receptionist
Claire began working at CIVEH over a year ago as a receptionist. Prior to working at CIVEH, she was employed as a manager at an overnight dog care facility and daycare in Vancouver for several years. Claire was raised in Nanaimo, and she is delighted to be back on the island after a 9 year hiatus and to be getting to look after animals at the same time! When she is not working, you can find her exploring the local beaches and hiking trails with her French Bulldog, Arwen. She is also studying at Vancouver Island University with a long term view of becoming an elementary school teacher.

Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital is committed to doing everything possible to combat the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

As part of this commitment, effective immediately, Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital will be instituting the following precautionary protocol to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

For the safety of yourself, our staff, and the community, clients will not be allowed to enter the building.
