With the current extended wait periods, Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital aims to offer elective procedures that may need to be performed in a timely manner. If a procedure is required on an emergency basis, this can also be accommodated either with the new surgical department or through the ER referral service as usual.

The following procedures will be available with one of our experienced veterinarians:

• Dog and cat spays (OVH and OVE) and neuters
• Spays due to pyometra
• Mass removals
• Surgical removal of gastrointestinal foreign bodies
• Endoscopic foreign body retrieval
• Splenectomies
• Cystotomies
• Amputations
• Enucleations
• Wound repairs
