Emergency Veterinary Hospital Open 24 Hours a Day

Alixe Varnel

Lead Veterinary Assistant
Alixe grew up on the mainland and made her way to beautiful Vancouver Island 7 years ago. She received her certificate in veterinary assisting from Insignia College back in 2014, and has been working in the field ever since. She is currently an assistant and organizes our internal training program for assistants and receptionists here at the hospital. She has loved animals since she was young, wanting to fix the injured animals that she found and caring for her lovely family pets. She currently has 2 beautiful black cats that her and her daughter adore. They also love adventuring through the beautiful forests around the island and spending sunny days on the beach.

Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital is committed to doing everything possible to combat the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.
