Emergency Veterinary Hospital Open 24 Hours a Day

Nicole Briggs

Veterinary Assistant
Nicole's passion for animals is life long, and she has been working with them since 2014. Nicole grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, but moved to Nanaimo in 2015 to experience the west coast lifestyle. She shares her home with her husband, Dean, and their son, Easton. Animals are a big part of Nicole’s family too, with her basset hound, Tucker, ferrets, Freddie and Skipper, and birds, Mac, June, and Maverick. When not at work, Nicole raises their son and tries to be outdoors as much as possible, walking in the neighbourhood parks with Easton and Tucker. She has a creative side too and enjoys drawing the beauty around her and writing about her life. Nicole loves her work and you can bet the next time she sees your pet, they will get a ton of loving and petting from her!
