Mya joined the CIVEH team in December of 2019 to continue with her love of working with animals. She is currently thinking about pursuing a career as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
When not at the clinic, Mya can be found hanging out with her MexPup, Monty, who hasn't left her side since he was rescued in 2016. Monty was diagnosed with Addison's Disease back in August 2019. However, with some love and daily medications, he is now back to his happy, healthy self. Monty enjoys joining Mya when she is at the barn riding. Mya has competed in dressage on the Island and mainland and even went to BC Summer Games in 2018 representing Vancouver Island.
