Veterinary Assistant
Matison has worn many hats working in Veterinary clinics for the past 8 years she started as a kennel assistant while in high school and moved to Nanaimo where she worked at a local clinic for 6 years as an assistant and receptionist. Matison took part in the 2015 Nechako Valley Spay and Neuter Clinic in Vanderhoof, organized by the local animal rescue group, Spirit’s Mission. She also has a lovely pooch named “Marley May,” who loves to spend time on their boat with her people.

May 18th 2022 - Official Communication Dear Community, Necrotizing fasciitis is an uncommon disease in dogs but given the number of cases we have seen recently, it is important that we, as pet owners (myself included) are vigilant. However, the first thing we must not do is panic. I would like to take this time to give you an overview of the disease so that you know what to look out for and when to seek veterinary care.
