Dr. Sitara Alahan DVM

Emergency Veterinarian
Sitara is a 2018 graduate from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Washington State. She was born near Seattle and has also lived in Hawaii, India, and most recently, Nanaimo. Sitara has been immersed in emergency practice since graduating. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery and endoscopy. She has also studied veterinary acupuncture and would like to pursue this field further in the future. Sitara lives with her husband, Deva, and their cat, TurtleBird, and she enjoys reading, hiking, and kayaking in the amazing local area.

- If possible, please call us at 250-933-0913 to let us know you are on the way so that we can be prepared to meet you upon your arrival at the hospital.

- When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle in our parking lot and call 250-933-0913, and we'll come to you.

- If you do not have a phone or your pet's emergency is immediately life-threatening, please come to the front door and ring the bell located to the right of the door.
