Emergency Veterinary Hospital Open 24 Hours a Day

Dr. Laura Field DVM

Emergency Veterinarian
Dr. Laura Field started her career at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, graduating in 2014. Thankfully, this was very close to where she grew up - a hamlet on the Saskatchewan prairie with the name of Holbein. When her family left Holbein, the running joke was that it was now going to have to be called Halfbein - this never happened. Laura worked in Port Hardy for four years before starting at CIVEH in 2018 to practice emergency medicine. For fun, Laura enjoys travelling, hiking, and squash. Recently, she purchased an off track thoroughbred from a rescue society who is now the focus of all of her time and money. She also has a dog named Luna, and three cats - Secret Cat, George Oscar Bluth, and George Michael.
