Cory Abbott, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Born and raised on the island, Cory has always had a love for pets. She worked with animals for 20 years in Vancouver's regional veterinary hospitals before she decided to qualify as a veterinary technician. A 2006 grad from TRU-AHT program, she returned to small animal clinics in various BC locations. Cory successfully pursued courses in laboratory animal medicine working as a Lab Animal technician and achieved her CALAS certification.

Cory is an experienced RVT with a wealth of knowledge. She is passionate about Fear Free techniques and top-notch patient care. Cory's special interests include gardening, hiking, and animal behaviour.

- If possible, please call us at 250-933-0913 to let us know you are on the way so that we can be prepared to meet you upon your arrival at the hospital.

- When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle in our parking lot and call 250-933-0913, and we'll come to you.

- If you do not have a phone or your pet's emergency is immediately life-threatening, please come to the front door and ring the bell located to the right of the door.
